Gratefulness Journal Entry

I can't stand that I've been so lax in making entries lately! I think I'm going to have to make "regular entries" one of my New Year's Resolutions! I've been thinking about the past a lot lately, and what things would be like had I made different choices, but that leads to regrets and as those of you who follow my blog regularly know, I don't choose to live with regret. Gratefulness journals keep me grounded and in the present, and help me see the good that's in my life. They also help me keep a brighter outlook and remember the priorities in my life. So here goes.

Today, I am very truly grateful for…

1. My three beautiful daughters.
   
2. My hard-working, handsome, generous, kind husband.
   
3. My brothers.
   
4. My parents.
   
5. My in=laws.
   
6. My best friend and other close friends.
   
7. Reconnecting with many of my old high school and college friends.
   
8. Making new friends with old high school classmates.
   
9. Healing well from surgery.
   
10. Easy lunches baked in the oven that the girls think I slaved over. Thank you, Tyson chicken strips and Price Chopper brand French fries!
    
11. Hot coffee.
    
12. Icy Melt.
    
13. My sweet, beautiful cats Luna and Daisy.
    
14. A break between Winter storms.
    
15. Having a working car.
    
16. DVR, so that even if it takes a month before I get a chance, I can watch my favorite shows.
    
17. Excellent teachers and therapists to help my little Aspie girl.
    
18. Fuzzy slippers. Almost nothing beats fuzzy slippers.
    
19. Thick, warm comforters in mid-winter.
    
20. Cold medication that works.
    
21. Advil. Always grateful for Advil.
    
22. Cooking and baking.
    
23. Digital cameras.
    
24. Getting to watch my girls enjoy each other's company and grow together.
    
25. Coupons, especially the ones that you can just print out before heading out to the grocery store.
