I've Never Had Sex In A City

I don't live in the city. Never have. Never even had sex in an actual city. A town, sure. A cruise ship? Yup. In a sport's car? Of course. But in a city, such as New York? No. I don't even like cities.

Yes, I'm boring, when it cums right down to it.

I never even used to watch Sex in the City when it was on HBO because I didn't have HBO. But I've gotten hooked on the repeats of Sex in the City, which is on every Tuesday night on TBS or some such channel.

It's not even that I REALLY identify strongly with these mid-to-late-30-something single women. I mean, I married when I was 23. I've only ever slept with one man (my husband). I've never been much of a socialite. I have three children and never had fertility problems.

So WHY do I still identify enough with these women that I'll watch the show and laugh and cry with them? I think it's the friendships that the four of them share. Four best friends, who have seen each other through everything since they were in middle school. Four best friends who don't judge each other, no matter what the others do or don't do. Four best friends whose soul purpose is to support each other, talk, laugh, and love each other unconditionally. To be a safe haven for each other. No matter what or who else comes into their lives. They all share a connection that no man, and no child, can quite understand and certainly could never break. Each friend performs a special role, and without her, the rest would be lost, and the group would be broken, missing something.

Anyway, I just took a silly, fun quiz because I was inspired by Lisa's blog about how similar she is to Miranda. The quiz actually pegged me pretty closely to the friend I identified most with. I'm very amused by the fact that I have NOTHING in common with Samantha.
